This work was supposed to come out suddenly, but I think a gif can mark its upcoming release.
The insanely long render, unfortunately, doesn’t help with surprises.
Originally, this animation was meant to be short, but it accidentally turned into 4600 frames…
And that’s just for the two main characters. For the additional characters, I only did retargeting of animations from the ActorCore website on two characters. The rest of the idle animations were hastily made by me, and honestly, this month drained me completely.
Just like my PC was drained too—once again, I feel sorry for that workhorse. It couldn’t handle the finished scene even partially, so all the characters and the environment are rendered separately (I really enjoy creating location, I can’t help it), and then everything is assembled in compositing.
Overall, if not for some small rigging issues and crashes, the cause of which I didn’t understand, the work would have been finished much faster. The previous project is a bit unfinished, but since it’s shorter, I hope there won’t be delays with it. After that, I can finally move on to HSR.
P.S. Let me know if the gif lags and I didn’t compress it enough—I honestly can’t tell, since everything is lagging on my end right now.
