[Restoration] Sneak Peak #7: Pixies! Robots! New Weapons!

It's not been too long since the last public update, so this sneak peak won't be too long.

Pixie Prankster!

You may remember this art from earlier, but previously she hasn't had a role in the game due to her intended battlefield mechanics not being implemented. Soon she will be! She will be unique for her new battlefield ability which allows her to teleport enemy combatants away!

Be warned, though, the direction of the teleportation is random 4 to 5 hexagons away from the original hexagon (when possible), offering your team a bit of breathing room and perhaps the opportunity to advance forward. However, and it could lead to an enemy being moved behind your own lines where it could pick off a weak archer. Who knows!

The Pixie Prankster will be available to the player as a recipe and transformation potion after the completion of the (rather short) Pixie Inna Jar quest where the party must carry a mischievous pixie to her intended recipient, suffering her pranks all the while.

New Quest

We are also working on the upcoming Reprogramming In Progress quest that won last month's quest poll. Artist Hermes3megistus is currently working on artwork for the male+female automaton forms.

This quest involves entering an ancient whiskey vault that is protected with a self-replenishing defense system where intruders are likely to find themselves "reprogrammed" both mentally and physically into bio-mechanical being that instead defend that you attempted to penetrate.

Foxy Foxes!

There will be a new male and female unit type, fox wildpeople. These characters will be recruitable as well as forms granted by transformation potions. The fox wildpeople will specialize in lust magic, a relatively rare unit in the current roster of forms available to the player party.

New Weapons

We're also adding in a few unique weapons that can be found in Popup Dungeons in special "rare item" chests.

"Magic Rod" -- melee range lust weapon that has a chance to transform the target into submissive maids

"Cow Poke Rod" -- similar to above, but can create some new dairy cows out of enemy combatants

"Ring of Chaotic Touch" -- grants the pixie teleportation combat ability as mentioned above
