'Dummies Desires' Animated YCH sketchadoodle but completed this time

That titles slightly better than last time.

I dont really have much I want to type out at the moment- I've been working on and yapping a lot about my thoughts throughout the process in the #kinks-wip discord channel so its all recorded in history there. I'm kind of just tired of thinking about this piece at the moment. It isn't coming out quite as I envisioned- but it might still look pretty awesome when it's finished? Idk. I hope so.

This title is absolute word soup- I'll think of something more concise when this is ready / posted again.

Theres a con coming up and I've run into abrupt (albeit hopefully mild) medical issues- so I need to get a bit of income. Since I can't take more commissions, im gonna squeeze out an animated YCH thats been on my mind.

October's wips but all at once

I was kind of all over the place- some other projects got poked at but not far enough along to be shared yet. This batch of things is primarily the commissions i've gotten sketched and a snake thingy that ive been developing along with the discord serve.

For almost all of these sketches, theres changes requested by their commissioners and fixes I personally want to make- so expect a few of them to look noticeably different to now when they appear again later

Somehow, this is a different character to demon Flipy- this is Flipy as a demon. I know, huge differences there. I needed (and wanted) this design for a few upcoming YCH things where Flipy is in control so- wahey! There she is!

All of the individual characters and art pieces were uploaded the other day if you want to ~admire~ anything for longer than the 2 seconds it appeared for. Everything is also up on the patron discord, I imagine the video is a bit higher quality there too not having to deal with youtube ...

The original intention with this semi-black and white style was to focus on sketches I could make quickly and make a whole ass thing within 3 days. That, didnt really work out and as I did more work on this I slowly fell into my bad perfectionist habits and the line quality / color quality improved. So, if some things just look better than other parts- oops...

- I adore the teeth design at the top of the wardrobe, I wanted the very top surface to be kind of mouth-y and the design for it rn works. I dont think it'll change, but I feel it could be better

- The Internal doesent quite feel like it fits the perspective the wardrobe takes, but I was fighting with the limitat...

The references I found all had the interior of this cloak done as a pitch black, and I only realised this after I had drawn and colored in the cloak. So- compromise! I like playing with color...

Letting a sketch get out of hand (wip but also done?)

Ok, this will be an odd one.

I have had a pretty bad habit of shading pieces that were never intended to be shaded. I like colors too much, and once im in ~the zone~ on a piece I convince myself "it wont take THAAAAT long to add".

Sometimes thats true! This piece honestly went fine with shading, the only woes I ran into came from the fishnets. Turns out I dont know how to draw fishnets for my life, and I was hopelessly lost until I did a bit of poking about CSP's market and fou...

Lots of small experimentation with this animation, theres a large wall of text in a wip post for it that explains some of the deep troubles its gone through- but its done now!

While I am 100% never going to replicate the behind the scenes method I used to get this animation- there are a TON of good lessons I've learned that I can bring forward into other animated projects. Namely, a way to animate shading effects...

Im so used to working in this niche I forget its a niche
