Last week started off pretty rough due to a bout of Sciatica that kept me (JudooTT, the programmer, lead writer, and the one who runs Patreon) in bed for most of the first few weekday. Thankfully the recovery is going well enough and I'm able to be nearly as productive as before, but apology for delays. We're still aiming on an end-of-August public release if at all possible.
Now for the new stuff!
As a part of the upcoming The Whey to Curdshire Quest, we are implemented a new feature into the game: Ferals. Ferals are transformed party members who have been transformed into the body of an animal and thus lose the ability to speak and reason. Despite this, they are still able to travel with the party until they can be later changed back into a more humanoid form. There is a risk of them simply wandering off when you aren't looking, so the longer someone is left like this--particularly a Follower--the more likely you are to have to say goodbye.

Ferals will not be able to engage in most quest content. Feral companions will not be able to grant their Adventuring skills to the party, either, and they will not gain relationship toward the player from participation in quests. You also lose the ability to talk to companions who are feral.
Ferals can be either Peaceful or Aggressive. Peaceful ferals are not able to enter battles. In the case a party member becomes feral during a battlefield transformation, they will wander around aimlessly out of the player's control. Aggressive ferals (think wolves, bears, snakes, etc) are planned to remain in battle, but will act under the AI's control rather than the player's direct control. They will, however, know who is on which side in the battle and will attack enemies (unless they also betray their own party.)

The first feral in Restoration will be the humble, peaceful dairy cow. Expect to see these in the upcoming The Whey to Curdshire quest. Aggressive ferals will come in the future.
The second upcoming feature we'd like to discuss is the Ring of Ethereal Wings. This new and rare ring grants the wearer the Summon Ethereal Wings combat ability. This allows allied units in battle to fly for the next turn (or two, depending whether they receive it before or after they have taken their turn in the round).

This ring also requires its wearer to have a base state of 15 Spellslinging, so it can only be worn on the player or companions who have invested five or more points into that attribute. (Note that this requires a minimum base state, not total, so other equipment and status effects do not help or hurt with equip requirements).

That's all for now!
