2023-06-01 17:35:56 +0000 UTCGotta be honest, that poem at the end sounded way too much like someone just describing killing a bunch of homeless people, and that just made it a bummer. The humor of Dalton's "monster hunting" comes from the exaggeration of a perceived slight, not just merciless eradication of the vulnerable. There's a nuance to dark humor, which this show balances pretty well, and I'd like to think we can make that distinction without going off the edge into celebrating barbarism.
