This week is more of a development update of the Rigs and some other technical stuff.
RIGS:
I had some major breakthroughs that will make the rigs much more performant in Maya and also give better deformations. I had to do quite a lot of back and forth and bug-fixing but I think the rigs are much better now and ready for EP6 as well as the next game. So the time invested was definitely worth it for everything in the future.
What has been bothering me for a long time was the loss of volume of the ass in certain Poses. And I finally came up with a great solution for that! So now we finally have the volume of the ass preserved when they are going in an extreme Doggystyle Pose (just as an example).

I also added the new (and for now final) face rig to all the girls. That will make things a lot easier also because it´s just much more convenient to use.
What I also did was adding some additional attributes to automate things like the position of the lips for Blowjob, Ass opening, Pussy opening, Finger curling. Before I had to manually go in and adjust the different subcontrollers which I don´t have to do anymore. Great quality of life improvement :)

MOCAP:
I also did some first mocap-test of my friends Body mocap-system. This fucking rocks!!! The character is from the Mocap-Software by the way :)
There are some glitches but please keep in mind that this is raw data. There was no cleanup done whatsoever and fingers are not tracked. So normally you run another pass of cleaning up and adding animations to things that were not tracked, like the fingers in that case.

This will come in handy for all kinds of stuff. There is still a lot of issues that have to be ironed out, but I am very positive this will be great once we figure all that out. What is currently missing is finger and facial mocap at the same time as the body mocap is done. Since it´s an optical system the finger markers are often not visible when you make a fist, hold a weapon etc. You can see my hand glitch when I hold a gun. There there was not enough information for the cameras to properly track the hand because the markers were covered. So my friend ordered an additional gloves set that uses a different system. Once we have that, finger mocap should also not be a problem!
And the Face, in combination with my new facial rig, will most likely be captured with an iPhone that supports FaceID. But until that is working it´s still a lot of other stuff to optimize and finalize. And he also needs to start earning money with that, so he will focus on Body Mocap first. But overall I am super excited and very surprised about the great accuracy :)
EPISODE 6:
I hope to get the final Audio for at least 3 girls early next week. I am focusing on the sex animations in the meantime. Once they are done, I can still do all the story-related stuff.
