by the 2 tomes of wisdom you mean the ones with Betty and Roswaal? but aren't they connected to Echidna?

Just seems a bit of a large coincidence doesn't it? Once again, I have no idea if I'm right or not, but...

2025-10-22 21:16:25 +0000 UTCBetty's story really makes my heart hurt. Subaru can't be that person for her. He already has a person he's set his eyes on. It would be rude to Emilia for Subaru to say that he'd be that person for her. "Behond an unthinkable present" meaning what could have been at this point in time if some things didn't happen. What a truly heartbreaking trial to go through. I don't think if I was Emilia, I'd want to leave. She's truly strong to be able to accept that this will never be real. I'm also happy to see people starting to believe in Emilia now. Echidna did create the Tomes of Wisdom that Beatrice and Roswaal have, so there's a good probability of Echidna having some knowledge of the future. As we've already found out, the future the Tome can tell doesn't seem all that percise, otherwise there wouldn't be anything that Roswaal wouldn't know about. Instead, the Tomes seem more like a guide of sorts to get the future they want. Or so it seems to me at least. Echidna was the Witch of Greed and clearly knew a lot of different things, I doubt knowing something about the future is something too unrealistic to expect from her.
