oh wow you are right! 😲 it's really crazy and dangerous just like Vanilla ICe's stand 😓 thank you for the explanation. I wasn't sure how the plants got to him, I know he erases distances but because they came late I thought it would be instant something similar to a teleportation but that wasn't the case for the plants.

It works pretty similarly to Vanilla Ice's stand from part 3, in that if it makes contact with something, it is simply erased from existence. Of course, unlike Vanilla Ice, The Hand can't become a crazy ball of destruction, but in return, The Hand can be used to erase space and pull things closer towards Okuyasu, allowing him to keep people from running. It's not so simple as just teleporting someone to him, but more so everything collapsing in towards him, which is why those potted plants flew at him and smacked him after Okuyasu scraped away space to move Josuke closer. He also accidentally pulled the plants closer, and effectively knocked himself out! You can see Josuke walk in front of them to bait Okuyasu into doing this. Also, you're now in the era where stands are gonna start being named after bands and musicians! Bad Company is an English band from the 70s, and 'The Hand' being named after 'The Band', (The kanji supposedly look rather similar from what I've heard.) another band from the 60s and 70s. And Crazy Diamond is a song by Pink Floyd!

2025-07-19 01:16:32 +0000 UTCWhen he talks about the guy in uniform the subs are bit off. It does not say "pissed" nor angry. He says: "If you kill me, the guy in school uniform won't be just standing by. That man is living in this city." Implying some counter reaction to Josuke's action rather than being simply angry emphasis is on possible elimination for being threat to his goals.
