In order to do this, they need to act the part. If you are a seer, act as a seer. If you are a midnight poet, go around reciting poetry at night. You can obviously take potions before then but it's dangerous. (you can die, go insane, or become a monster) As far as the luck enhancement ritual. It is the chant/ prayer he uses to get to the grey fog. He said he has 2 options to possibly be able to control it. He believes the fog is the key to getting back home. 1. Get stronger by climbing sequences but will take awhile according to him 2. Edit the chant/prayer for the gray fog and make it point / correlate to himself so that he might be able to control it. (it's just a theory that he had) Alger and Audrey are shocked because Gods in this world usually have honorific names. They are a set of 3 lines. He told them to pray to him using a 3 line honorific prayer so they are both under the assumption that he is a god not part of the Orthodox gods.
