omg reading your comment gave me goosebumps this is scary 😱 omg I did see the real world but I thought that was just how they wanted to show the past instead of animating it 😱 are you really really saying that they did it on purpose to show that the humans in the past looked like us and not anime characters? I know it makes sense what you are saying or why else would Shinra say "what are these beings that look like humans?" 😱 THIS IS CRAZYYYY!!! I can't wait for the next part 😱

And after the cataclysm occurred, humans began to look like anime characters, like everyone in the show. That is why Shinra said, "What are these beings that look like humans?" He said that because he basically saw what real humans in our world look like. Before the great cataclysm, for some reason everyone in the Fire Force world looked like regular humans and not anime characters.
