Thank you so much for explaining all this. I see. I guess I am overestimating Rimuru, I mean, I just found out that Milim is 10 times stronger, so yea. I guess he will continue to grow as the show progresses, and I'm so looking forward to seeing that development 🥰🤗 You are so right, I to be honest didn't see that part coming when Rimuru absorbed the orc, I felt intimidated myself just from watching Rimuru absorb him 😂 I see your point also that Rimuru can't just absorb everything. It makes sense since he isn't OP from the start but is growing in strength. Thank you again for sharing your thoughts! It was fun to read 😉🥰

Just so you know, just because Rimuru beat a "demon lord" doesn't mean he's as strong as one in this situation. Geld was a fresh demon lord. Just imagine out of nowhere you get tons of powerful skills, but you are expected to fight for your life the moment you receive them. You, having no idea what they are and the way they work, would naturally be bad at using your new power. If geld had time to sit on his power a bit, the outcome may have been a lot different. Notice how this was the FIRST person Rimuru has had a back and fourth struggle with to absorb? If your opponent is not weakened, doesn't want to be absorbed, or resists being absorbed, it will be MUCH harder for Rimuru to eat them, sometimes impossible. Also Rimuru can only absorb things of a certain level, like if someone used an "ultimate skill" (you will find out more about them during S2) he would NOT be able to do anything against it. You seem to overestimate Rimuru a lot, he currently isn't as strong as you think he is and he's definitely nowhere near the strongest in this world. This episode shows another thing I love about this anime, it can go from zero to 100, even with the amount of blood/gore. You wouldn't expect a show like this to show someone full on eating another, being able to see muscle and everything which not even solo leveling does.
