The items from this week can be found in real life! Check out friend-of-the-Saddlebag Yaniir's Kickstarter to get your own Monolith Crystal items to wear!
Wondrous item, very rare (requires attunement)
This ear cuff is complemented by a dangling, polished crystal. The crystal is from the Monolith, a stone of immeasurable power and size, and said to have been the first stone in the Plane of Earth from which all others originate. If you're attuned to multiple items with "Monolith Crystal" in their name, they only count as a single item for the purpose of the number of items you can attune to. Furthermore, while attuned to this item, you gain a cumulative +1 bonus to Constitution saving throws.
The item has 4 charges for the following properties. It regains all expended charges daily at dawn.
Change Color. While wearing the ear cuff, you can use a bonus action to expend 1 of its charges to magically change the crystal's color, clarity, and visible inclusions. You then gain resistance to the damage type associated with that color, as shown on the table below. When found, the crystal is a random color.

Crystal Barrier. While wearing the ear cuff, you can use a bonus action to expend 2 of its charges to magically surround yourself with a translucent, crystalline barrier of pure force. You can also choose to change the crystal's color (as if by its Change Color property) as part of using this bonus action. While the barrier persists, you have a damage threshold of 20. The barrier remains for 1 minute, until your concentration on it ends (as if concentrating on a spell), or until the barrier prevents damage for a fourth time. Whenever the barrier prevents damage that would've been dealt by a creature within 30 feet of you, that creature takes 1d10 damage of the type associated with the crystal's current color. For each additional item you're attuned to with "Monolith Crystal" in its name, the damage is increased by 1d10.
To wear it is to wear a part of time itself. Mutable, yet unyielding. Such a trophy is nearly beyond words.
