While wearing these black leather boots, you have advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks. In addition, if you're in dim light or darkness, you can use an action to become invisible. You remain invisible in this way as long as you remain motionless in either dim light or darkness; attacking or casting a spell automatically reveals you.
Shadow Stride. While wearing these boots, you can use a bonus action to speak their command word and click your heels together. You must be on a solid surface. When you do, your shadow separates from your feet, and you become deaf and blind with regard to your own senses. The shadow remains separated for 1 minute or until you end the effect early (no action required); the effect ends early if you end your turn while the shadow is in bright light or if the shadow is ever more than 120 feet away from you. For the duration, you can hear and see through your shadow as if you were in its space. The shadow appears as a dark, formless shape on whatever surface it's currently on, and it is no more than 5 feet across. You can move the shadow in any direction along a solid surface by spending 1 foot of movement for every 1 foot it moves; the shadow can climb up walls and move across any surface as if it were normal terrain in this way. When the effect ends, you can choose to teleport to the space directly above the shadow. Either way, your shadow and senses then magically return to you, and this property can't be used again until the next dusk.
