Scroll, rare
By using an action to read from this gilded scroll, you cast the passwall spell from it. This version of the spell has the following additional effects. The passage created by this version of the spell is lined with gold. Each time a creature moves entirely through the passage, that creature must make a DC 16 Charisma saving throw; the creature is unaware of this effect. On a failed save, the creature loses a portion of any money it has on its person. The amount lost is determined by the result of the creature's saving throw: 15–14 (10 percent), 13–12 (20 percent), 11–10 (30 percent), 9–8 (40 percent), and 7 or lower (50 percent). The money appears at your feet as a loose pile of coins when the spell ends. You and other creatures without money automatically succeed on the saving throw. After casting the spell from the scroll, it turns to dust and is destroyed.
She knew the fat cats would never actually pay to see the rarities of the museum's vault, but talking about a "free, private 1-hour tour" would bring in all the money needed to continue expanding the collection.
