Each week on Discord, community members nominate other members' suggested items to be made into official Saddlebag items. The top two most voted-for item ideas each week get made, following back and forth workshopping and discussion.

Ideas

1) Spectral Shroud — This macabre cloak is possessed by a ghost. While wearing the cloak's hood, you can take on ghostly properties, such as incorporeal movement and flight. However, donning the hood requires you to make a saving throw or be possessed by the cloak's ghost.

2) Cup of Composure — This porcelain teacup can recreate the effects of the calm emotions spell when drank from. It can communicate in prim and proper manner , often encouraging non-violent solutions to problems, such as a chat over a cup of tea.

3) Voice of Oaths — This scroll-like earcuff is worn by paladins, reflecting their oath. Wearing it extends the radius of your aura and allows you to cast an Oath Spell once per day without expending a spell slot. The earcuff will occasionally speak as your conscience, encouraging behavior that aligns with your oath.

4) Wind-up Guard — This toy soldier can be wound up to set it on patrol. It will recreate the effects of the alarm spell during this time, dutifully patrolling and watching for danger. It treats you as its superior and speaks in short, militaristic sentences.

5) Red Cap Bell — This small desk bell features a fine inn design. It can be rung to cast unseen servant. This servant is visible, wearing fine attire. The servant can cast mending and prestidigitation, and enjoys making pleasant small talk as well as being useful however possible.

6) Chatter's Teapot — A tea pot that can brew several serving of tea that can replicate the effects of the calm emotions spell. It communicates telepathically to any creature around it with a welcoming and encouraging voice that is eager to hear about the day's events.

7) Carnivorous Coin Pouch — This coin pouch springs to life when a coin is first deposited in it, imprinting on it new owner. The pouch greedily eats any coin handed to it, spit out exact change, and magically convert coin denominations. If anyone tries to steal the pouch, it bites at the thieving creature and screeches.
