Boneash Spear

Weapon (spear), rare (requires attunement)

A boneash spear has a short handle and has been forged with the ashen remains of felled beasts. You gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. In addition, when you attune to the spear for the first time, and then again daily at dawn, choose one of the following options. You then gain the listed benefits until the next dawn.

Antelope. Your speed increases by 5 feet, and your jump distance increases by 5 feet. While holding this weapon, you gain a +2 bonus to AC against opportunity attacks made against you.

Elephant. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight of what you can push, drag, or lift. Furthermore, when you move 20 or more feet towards a target in a straight line and then attack it with this weapon, you have advantage on the attack roll.

Lion. You can't be frightened while this weapon is on your person. In addition, you have advantage on ability checks made to identify or follow tracks.

Your steel lacks heart. Ours is made of it. Draw your blade, and I will show you the difference it makes.

Skill choice=extra fun 🦌🦁🐘

Very cool concept. I could see a lot of variations on this, both by adding extra animals and also by making versions themed to particular environments other than savannahs (island, arctic, jungle, etc). As a DM I really appreciate items with a lot of potential for customization πŸ‘

I like the concept but Lion doesn't seem as strong in a combat situation as the other two. To be fair, there are several ways for a character to gain immunity to frightened (and I don't find that it comes up all that often anyway). Would be cool to see Lion get some kind of bonus (like pack tactics) or some other more direct combat bonus, like Elephant and Antelope get.

Uuuhhh i really like this concept of choosing skills
