This iron signet ring bears the mark of a swirling eye. While wearing it, you can use an action to magically heat the signet up and burn it into a target within your reach. The brand mark remains on the target for up to 12 hours or until you use the ring to mark another target. While the mark remains, you magically know the general direction and proximity the target is from you (very close, close, far, or very far), up to 1 mile away. An unwilling target can make a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw, avoiding the effect on a success. A dispel magic or lesser restoration spell removes the mark early.
