Hey all! It seems I didn't fill up the Ep.11 notebook used to draft ideas even halfway, so it's now become the notebook for both episodes. Here's a detailed update on what I'm doing right now.
Episode 12 is currently being drafted out and is in the early stages of the writing process. I've gotten the writers I want ready to work on it, and itching to go. I have a lot of ideas, but I'm holding myself back from rushing it, because I want to be extra sure about what I want out of this last one. This series and its characters are very personal to me, so I'm being extra cautious about the finale feeling "right". I estimate personally taking the rest of February and March to write the initial draft before delving in with edits from the writers.
My new website, Shippiddge.com has now launched. If you want a quick glance at the Ep.12's current status in terms of progress, the homepage now has a tracker for it. It will also be the first thing to update with the live stream schedules. I plan to start live streaming again this month. Probably on Thursdays. I'll also soon be uploading an "Update 2026" video to the Shippiddge channel, announcing the site.
"One Episode Left" is now in production. The script is finished, and has been sent out to people voicing in it. I've already received a lot of the audio and am waiting for the rest. This one is... a little bigger than the other ones and might have some real surprises in it. I will likely be streaming the animation process and then uploading it alongside the 1-11 compilation. Here is a short clip from it:
During the production of Episode 11, I produced a 2D animated special with my friend, animator Aron Keyser. It's nearly done, and just needs proper music and sound. I've been unable to focus on it as much as I wanted, as everything else keeps taking priority, but I want this finished soon so I can show it to you all. Look out for "Bug Brigade" in the near future.
The next Patreon-exclusive area of focus for me will be the "Show Bible". You can view the last iteration of the Show Bible (version 6.0) right here. I was unable to update it to version 7.0 between Ep10 and Ep11, as most of the entries did not matter as much to the events of Ep11, and it was difficult to prioritize. However, because we are heading into the last episode, I think finishing the Show Bible will put me in the right headspace for writing the finale. I intend to finish this month. Hopefully I'll also be able to do the rest of the "creator commentaries" and "set tours" which stopped after Ep.6. I want this part of the production cycle to be all about tying down all the various loose ends so we can bring all of this to a satisfying conclusion.
This month, as well, I intend to finish and send out all the signed scripts for all the "Very Best" Patrons of Episode 11. If you are one of these and want to request something specific written on yours, please let me know.
I anticipate being in the "writing" phase for a while, but I'll try to keep you all up to date. Thank you thank you thank you for all your support and thanks for coming with me into the finals.
