Added 2024-07-02 05:00:05 +0000 UTCAlternate Thumbnails For Padme/Siren. When making the Padme video, I wanted to do the opposite of what I had done with my Leia video. Leia focused on a young woman who had something to prove, and Padme focused on a mature senator who was in control and deeply in love. I chose to set the video during the Naboo picnic scene not only because it's iconic but because it was a great way to naturally give a ton of personal attention to the POV, Anakin. When I was editing this one, it came out surprisingly tragic when you know how their story comes to an end. I really like the dreamy feel it has to it. As for Siren, I initially struggled in figuring out if I wanted this to be set in the Van Helsing era or the Vampire Saga, but I chose Vampire due to the standalone nature of the story. Aside from the videos that connect the dots of the story like Goth Girl's, I always intended for Vampire Saga to have sequences like Siren that stood alone and felt like a short horror film. I really like how the look of this one came out! And it adds to the growing list of horrors that walk the world the Conduit and the sisters live in.

Thanks! I also thought the makeup was a nice touch to show something was immediately off about the encounter! And videos like the Siren are always fun to do because they're an exercise in imagination!

The siren seems to play out what Nietzsche once said "if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you". The protagonist managed not to fall into the abyss this time, but there's no hurry. How long can one withstand a call to the underworld anyway? Also the make up was incredible, the dots under the eyes added a very needed touch of strangeness to the overall look. It was very interesting to learn how you came up with the whole idea of this story.
