・I want to prioritize my activity on FANBOX!
・I’ve come up with a new way to use X, and I’d like to try it!
・I’ll soon conduct a survey for non-supporters (with a thank-you illustration attached).
⏱️ Reading time: About the time it takes to cook two instant ramen cups in a row.
Lately, real life work has been overwhelming, and it made me stop and think about how I should continue to grow my creative activities. Today, I’d like to share those thoughts with you.
Not long ago, I tried to increase awareness among people who don’t yet know my work. I returned to X Premium and became more outward-facing in my activity. This led to:
・A new development (I became a Vtuber’s “mama”)
・More interaction on X (but it didn’t affect FANBOX)
・More Skeb commissions (though that might just be due to summer bonuses)
In summary: while the attempt did raise awareness to some degree, adapting to X’s new algorithms demanded far more time and energy than I expected. And more importantly, being so outward-focused meant I wasn’t able to “distill and deliver my favorite fetishes” to those of you supporting me on FANBOX as much as I’d like. Tricky, isn’t it?
While wrestling with these thoughts, I suddenly had a breakthrough idea! I want to share this sense of excitement and venturing into the unknown with you.
1️⃣ Creating innocently, as if at play
The best drawings often come from a playful mindset. So even if it’s “work,” I want to treat it like play—carefree sketching that stays fun.
2️⃣ Posting small essays through public FANBOX posts
I’d like to share the things I love, the things I’m playing with, and the inspirations I feel while drawing. In doing so, I hope to let people who don’t yet know our little world get a glimpse of what Anchors and all of you are building together.
3️⃣ More stable FANBOX updates
At the moment, real-life issues and Skeb requests sometimes make regular posting difficult. I think one cause is that I take on too many requests—things I can draw, but not necessarily what I most want to draw. Lowering the priority of “drawing because I can” may help.
Also, since FANBOX is a closed space, I’d like to lean into that and explore its underground potential. For example, creating ways for deeper interaction with supporters—like “fetish roundtables” or anonymous feedback boxes.
4️⃣ Changing my entire approach to X
Honestly… X’s algorithm is such a pain to keep up with, uuuugh. So maybe instead of playing its game, I should change how I broadcast in the first place.
I’ll talk more about this in the next section.
I want to return to the true purpose of creation: not saying “yes” to everything, but choosing what to do in a self-directed (not selfish) way. Within that, I’d like to try things that (I think) no one else is doing yet.
These days, X tends to favor “the kinds of users X itself wants,” while disadvantaging everyone else. And no matter how much your follower count grows, that’s really just a past accumulation—not “in-the-moment influence.”
I started wondering: isn’t this something no individual effort can really overcome? That’s when I thought—what if I expressed my strengths in a different way? From solo battles to team play.
And so, here it is!!
“When I draw someone’s OC or Vtuber, I won’t post it myself—they will.”
Here’s what I mean:
Sometimes I surprise followers by drawing lewd art of OCs I really like. But that’s always been limited, like small-scale collaborations. So what if I removed those limits?
1️⃣ I send the finished work to the person by DM (I won’t post it myself).
2️⃣ If they like it, they can post it on their own timeline (and if they decide it’s too much to share, that’s fine too—it’s just something I enjoyed drawing).
3️⃣ That way, the art directly reaches the people who already love that OC or Vtuber—the creator’s own followers.
4️⃣ It spreads to audiences that retweets alone wouldn’t reach. I gain new connections and recognition, while the other person gets more art of their character and new interactions with their followers. A true Win-Win!
Sounds exciting, doesn’t it?
For years, I’ve been fighting solo battles. But in today’s world, there’s only so much one person can do. That’s why I believe it’s better to borrow each other’s hands, resonate together, and build a world where we can all survive and thrive.
And with this method, I believe I can even turn X’s algorithms on their head.
For those who have never supported Anchors before, or supported once but aren’t currently doing so, I’ll be conducting a survey with a thank-you gift ❤️
The gift will be an illustration like the ones I usually share on FANBOX. Details will be explained in the upcoming survey post. I’m really looking forward to your responses!
I hope you’ll continue to support Anchors and all of my companions :3
And to you reading this now—I invite you to set sail with us, into the great ocean of kinks and desires.
Because I truly believe that will enrich our hearts, and give us the strength to survive reality.
Thank you!
