My friend Alyssa reached out to me a little while back and asked me if I would be willing to do an interview on her podcast about anti-inflammatory life. Being recently diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia, this means that inflammation is my enemy so I’m doing my best to avoid things that trigger inflammation. This coincides with , what Alyssa‘s podcast and life mission are all about, fighting inflammation. I just took a listen to the podcast and I’m not gonna lie, I’ve been in tears through the last hour, listening to it. A few sad tears, but mostly happy tears. There’s nothing like feeling seen and heard. There is a lot of vulnerability and a lot of personal information that I normally, don’t enjoy talking about so in-depth however she created an environment that made me feel very comfortable sharing. We speak about my hysterectomy, my stroke, bipolar disorder, my trigeminal neuralgia, growing up as a Jehovah’s Witness, leaving the religion, life with American Pickers and my relationship with my crew, a lot of ground has been covered in this interview! what an incredible hour it was talking with her about these life things and it leaves me feeling inspired to be healthier and do better every day. It also leaves me inspired to give myself an understand if there are days where I just can’t. Life is a lot to juggle for all of us, there are many more episodes of her podcasts that can aid in the juggling of our lives. For today, enjoy this one and let me know what you think! I would love to hear your thoughts. Also, please share if you struggle with bipolar disorder, inflammation, trigeminal, neuralgia, hysterectomy, experience living as a Jehovah’s Witness, any of it, I would love to know.
