Good morning! Most of you have followed my journey through my hysterectomy and trigeminal neuralgia surgery. Thank you for your support through those difficult times, you have no idea how much it means. I’ve had a lot of people ask me the question “how do you do it all?” Between American Pickers, which we are still filming, Providing content for only fans and Patreon, my Burlesque career, etc. A lot of you have asked how do you do it with chronic pain and limited mobility? This is how I do it every day. This is not a guide to how you should exercise, this is just an answer to the question, how do I keep going with chronic pain and limited mobility. This stretching regiment was designed specifically for my body by specialist and doctors that I’ve been working with over the last few years. This is what allows me to keep moving every day. Yes, I do all of the stretches every day multiple times a day in order to maintain my mobility. If I do not, my mobility is extremely limited and my body is in an unbearable amount of pain so it benefits me to keep my body moving all the time. If I slow down, my body shut down. This means even if I’m sick, if I have a cold, if I have the flu, if I’m recovering from some thing, I still have to do these movements every day. If I stop and ignore my body and do not follow through with my continual daily movement, the pain and immobility become extremely depressing and it’s really hard to get myself back up and moving. So pretty much I’m always in motion. It is very rare that you will see me sit down or lay down unless I am actively trying to sleep. If I do rest, I’m way more likely to lay down than I am to Sit, sitting causes my body to lock up worse than laying down. I don’t know all the answers yet. I am still seeing doctors to find out if there’s a larger reason that would tie all of these symptoms together or if it’s just how my body has reacted from the hysterectomy and the trigeminal neuralgia surgery. But in the meantime, it’s essential that I keep going, so these are some of the stretches that I do. There’s a lot of them! This video only covers a handful of them. As the days go on, I will post more videos of more stretches because each of them is really important. I refuse to slow down to a dead stop so, this is how I keep going, I’m super thankful to the healthcare practitioners, chiropractors, doctors, Pilates, and yoga specialist that have helped me come up with this routine. Without all of them, I would be unable to move forward so they are essential in my progress. if you are struggling with mobility, hopefully you have the ability to find some healthcare specialist that can help you through it. If not, there are a ton of videos on YouTube that are free. I really enjoy “yoga with Adriene” when I need a little more direction and I don’t have access to my healthcare practitioners. Have a beautiful day! Keep moving! You’ve got
