Hello! Haley here (Danielle's friend, manager and road wife). Thought I would hop on and share some photos from an amazing week in Puerto Rico celebrating the beautiful union between Danielle and Jeremy. The wedding week was 10/10 - fun, beautiful and relaxing :)
Danielle and Jeremy treated their guests with a warm welcome, hosting a cocktail hour and nacho bar the night before wedding day, it was a great way for the out of towners to get settled, mingle and kick off the party right! And of course I can't forget to mention the Burlesque show her fellow performers/friends gifted her that evening, the energy was at an all time high! It's always such a treat to watch the extremely talented performers in Puerto Rico.
The true magic was the day of the wedding. Music and champagne in the bridal suite while everyone got ready. Danielle's close friends and family got to have special moments with one another, all while watching Danielle transform into a true bridal goddess. (Her accessories deserve an entirely separate post, the larimar jewelry, head piece and vintage mother of pearl purse are what dreams are made of).
The English Rose is an exceptional and magical place. The staff, food and accommodations were top tier. The venue as a whole is intimate, comfortable and inviting, with beautiful views of the ocean atop a mountain. It was a privilege to be able to stay there with Danielle and her family.
After the loving ceremony (not a dry eye in the place), we migrated to the restaurant for a delicious family style dinner. The speeches and toasts made for some very heartfelt moments, and a chance to really grasp the positive impact both Danielle and Jeremy have made on so many people over the years. Also, can we talk about Danielle's second look?! She slipped into a sheer embellished dress right before dinner - she looked killer! ... And off we all went dancing the night away under the moonlight!
I would have to say one of my favorite events of the week was the pool party the day after the wedding. There aren't many things that can cure a hangover like spending the day poolside with a coffee bar (Wepa, a Puerto Rican coffee brand set up and gave out their delicious coffee as wedding gifts to guests. I highly recommend their cold brew!) It was a fun and laid back way to end the festivities, and a chance to really enjoy time with old and new friends that had grown so close over the week.
YOU DID IT, DANIELLE + JEREMY! CONGRATULATIONS, I LOVE YOU BOTH.
xoxo,
Haley
