Getting Stronger

The last time I successfully did a headstand was on stage at the Riot Fest after party in September 2022 at The Empty Bottle. Immediately following that I was on bed rest and waiting for my hysterectomy.
Lately, Ive been working with my friend Vivienne, (Pilates instructor) for the last few months to strengthen my core and repair my muscle tissue after a year of extremely limited mobility. I’ve also been taking pole lessons from my friend Yulietta.
I’m thrilled that I can finally do a headstand on the beach again. I still have a long road of fully recovering my strength but I’m so excited have my strength back to perform again safely.
