Morning tea

Feeling pretty good today. Although I had a setback yesterday, something scared me so I ran really fast and definitely felt the pain afterwards. However, I’m noticing I’m healing quicker each time a setback happens. I did spend the rest of yesterday in bed but this morning I feel pretty good, a couple little aches here and there, but this tea seems to always help. I know I post about it a lot, but turmeric, ginger, lemon, honey tea reduces inflammation. Also, honey is fantastic for hydration. Whenever I consume a good deal of honey, especially in tea, I noticed my skin looks much more hydrated. With all of the hormonal changes in my body, that is a major plus! That means I take less painkillers and I’m gentler on my body. It’s a great little concoction. I drink this tea four or five times a day, usually reusing the same ginger and turmeric until the evening and throwing it away at night. Ginger and turmeric can be expensive so I like to try to get every last little bit of goodness out of it that I can before cutting up more. Less waste, less expense. And it seems to help even if it’s recycled throughout the day. Within an hour, I visibly notice swelling in my body, go down. Often times the way I eat invites more sodium into my life than I would like, which causes inflammation, pain, swelling of my face and hands, and feet, but this seems to do the trick! And it does it quick! The trick for me is to watch my sodium intake, my sugar, intake, and double down with this delicious tea.

I think it’s really fun learning healthy ways to battle, inflammation, pain, etc. What are some healthy ways that help you battle issues within your body? I would love to learn from you. Tell me what you got.

Danielle, could you tell me the recipe for this magic tea potion? I’d love to try it and could like to know your measurements of ingredients and how to brew it? I’m not a tea person but am interested in drinking more natural tea like this. Thank you !!!!

That tea sounds like it would definitely do the trick. My only defense against the various ailments that befall me is to double down on my water intake. I find that whenever I forget to hydrate throughout the day, I pay for it the next. I don't take any vitamins, supplements or medications but feel that I'm getting to the age that a little something extra in my day to day wouldn't hurt. Your tea seems like it might be a bit spicy for my liking but I might have to give it a try! Hope you have a restful day and recover from yesterday's foible.
