Since I’ve had the time at home I e been detailing and rehabbing my vintage textiles. There are several projects I’m working on and am filming the process so that I can share it with you. You will have the benefit of watching my 20 years experience in “fixing” broken vintage without decreasing its value. Primarily textiles will be featured. I am currently focusing on costume , clothing and anything textile.
I will show you what a fabric beyond repair looks like and what to do with it next if you are sentimental about your shattered textiles, as well as how to make simple clothing repairs on fragile fabrics.
Beading repairs can often be extremely intimidating but I’m happy to show you simple ways to extend the life of your heavily beaded garments.
I’m excited to release my first video soon!
Most of this is recorded on my I phone so it’s very simple but effective.
What items are you currently trying to fix in your life? For me it’s textiles at the moment but I would love to hear your stories and benefit from your experience.
