Love ❤️

After 9 years rolling around this globe together I still love this incredible woman more than I can express. Haley started rambling with me and, fortunately never stopped. We have been through Blizzards, Hurricanes, earthquakes, pandemic, breakups, break downs and almost a decade of traveling with American Pickers.

Through all the ups and downs of the last decade, I have had her as a consistent safe space and soft place to land.

It’s easy for this world to tear women apart and convince us to turn on each other for all kinds of reasons. I’ve seen it time and time again, experienced it personally and contributed to the problem myself in my younger, more insecure years. As years have passed I’ve come to understand that we are all just humans, being human all over each other. It’s usually not personal, instead, often times, it’s a chemical reaction in one person that sets off another chemical reaction in another and that affects our relationships for the good and bad and everywhere in between.

When these issues arise I try really hard to let it be. Let the chemicals settle, Take space and regroup. Don’t internalize it.

Tugging at frayed threads only serves to break the delicate ties that bind us in our relationships.

Fortunately Haley and I feel the same way on this issue and have been able to work through some really tough times, side by side to this day and Goddess willing, far into the future.

I’ve learned so much from Haley about patience, kindness, Toning down my judgement and leading with love. I know she doesn’t really love a spotlight but today I just wanted to make an appreciation post about my road wife for life.❤️

Hail Storm, I’m extremely lucky to have you in my life and eternally grateful for the life lessons I learn from you daily. Thank you for always fighting for the betterment of your fellow femmes above all else. You are a truly incredible woman.

I have lost friends to war, but I have friends I have for 50 plus years. I have learned to take the good with the bad. What doesn't kill you can make you stronger. Just make every day the best You can, and remember we love You ❤️

True friends are hard to find. You’re very lucky to have Haley. My best friend and I go back almost 55 years from the days we started hanging out in high school. We were best men in each other’s weddings and our friendship has never wavered. Thanks for sharing sweetie❤️❤️❤️
