My big pink…

Tractor! Duh.

Usually, I think unnecessarily gendered items are silly. But….then there’s THIS big, pink tractor! How fabulous is this??? 💗🚜🌷🐷

This tractor will be on a future episode of American pickers. I can’t tell you much about the story but I can tell you this, I love the story behind this tractor. When we were out on the road, Robbie and I, A few months back, we picked from a gentleman who was a wonderful contributor to 4-H. I love 4-H, always wanted to be a part of 4-H growing up. As Jehovah’s Witnesses we really weren’t allowed to take part in activities outside of the church so I never was able to be in for each but I thought it was so cool how you could learn agriculture and understand the farming environment. I grew up in the farming environment and as a country girl, surrounded by farmers, fisherman, hunters, etc. you know, folks that live off the land. Farm land is incredible, it’s such a beautiful thing to watch everything growing around you. The vegetation, the families, the farms, the towns, all of it. And it all starts with agriculture.

Anyhow, back to my big pink tractor, the gentleman we were picking from allowed the local 4-H to come in and paint this tractor for a breast cancer awareness event. He loved it so much that he decided to keep it pink and put it in a place of honor on the farm and keep it there. It was one of the most interesting pics with one of the most interesting gentleman. I’m sure you’ll see the episode coming to you soon. I don’t want to give away too much but it was a really beautiful day on a farm in New Mexico. That’s all I can tell you for now.💗
