My momma at 9
Added 2022-02-04 00:46:10 +0000 UTCI thought I would share this with everybody. My mom (Sue Colby) sent this to me yesterday. It’s a photo of her at nine years old. She was so beautiful, she always has been. Even as she’s aging she just radiates beauty and light.
I love it when she sends me old photos. Does your mom ever do that? Does she ever just send you old photos out of nowhere?

2022-02-05 12:20:16 +0000 UTCCute kid. I don't really have any childhood photos of my mom. The wonderful thing I do have was found in my mom's house when she passed (2010). Someone in her family had a recorder that you could make records with. I had heard of these homemade records but never had heard them. When I actually listened to them it was absolutely amazing. It was written on the records who was talking or singing. It was my mom and family on several recordings. This is early 40's. Photos are beautiful but to hear my mom's voice as a teen was extremely emotional. I tear up every time I play them. I'm happy your mom is still with you.🥰

They had no pictures from their time as children and, unfortunately, they weren't big picture takers when my siblings and I were kids. So there were no photos to send... However, it's easy to see where you got your incredible beauty from, Danielle!
