It’s all about purr-spective

I figured since Halloween is nearly upon us I would go back through give you some of my best Halloween adjacent costumes. It’s so funny to think about all of the costuming I own and how so much of it doesn’t really qualify as “Halloween costume”. What is that? What are the rules about Halloween costumes? Do you have to be dressed up as something or someone else for it to count?? Someone tell me the rules! Remember that I grew up JW so holidays are all new to me. Even after all these years.

Your beauty is truly unique. I've often wondered and fantasized about your body with less covered up. Thank you for sharing the complete profile in all your natural essence! Great curves and a wonderful smile!

Rules? There are no rules in what constitutes a Halloween costume. Whatever a person freely chooses to wear or portray is just purrrrrrfect!

I know about the historical context. My question is more about the social aspects of Halloween. It's so evolved from the Samhain rites into something more commercial. I want to know about that part of it! I got plenty of history growing up but didn't really get to dress in a Halloween costume until I was well into adulthood.

You could dress up as a person, animal, inanimate object, or something as abstract as an idea. With your cheetah makeup, I think this costume would make a wonderful costume for a Halloween party. Throw in the red-lined cape and I think it would be perfect. I would like to see what kind of complementary costume y’all might come up with for Jeremy to wear. I’d absolutely love to see a photo shoot of the two of you dressed up. Maybe next time Madison visits you?

Halloween’s origins date back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain (pronounced sow-in). The Celts, who lived 2,000 years ago, mostly in the area that is now Ireland, the United Kingdom and northern France, celebrated their new year on November 1. This day marked the end of summer and the harvest and the beginning of the dark, cold winter, a time of year that was often associated with human death. Celts believed that on the night before the new year, the boundary between the worlds of the living and the dead became blurred. On the night of October 31 they celebrated Samhain, when it was believed that the ghosts of the dead returned to earth. In addition to causing trouble and damaging crops, Celts thought that the presence of the otherworldly spirits made it easier for the Druids, or Celtic priests, to make predictions about the future. For a people entirely dependent on the volatile natural world, these prophecies were an important source of comfort during the long, dark winter. To commemorate the event, Druids built huge sacred bonfires, where the people gathered to burn crops and animals as sacrifices to the Celtic deities. During the celebration, the Celts wore costumes, typically consisting of animal heads and skins, and attempted to tell each other’s fortunes. When the celebration was over, they re-lit their hearth fires, which they had extinguished earlier that evening, from the sacred bonfire to help protect them during the coming winter. Here's what the history Channel had to say about Halloween and the origins of wearing costumes, Danielle. And you're a treat on Halloween and every other day of the year!

Great outfit 👌 😍🥰🥰🤩🤩😛🤪😜

Something and someone both work. My wife is in a wheelchair and one year we dressed her as a six-sided dice. In my books, pasties, a g-string and a mask are more than enough. Enjoy!

Just dress up as you want. Have fun and enjoy.
