I love waking up and moving my body. Even if it's just a little bit of yoga to get my mind and body flowing in sync with each other. I woke up and went for a run with Haley. Running is one of my favorite things ever, but it's so hard to do back in Puerto Rico right now because we're experiencing the Sahara dust which makes breathing difficult. We ran along the river and saw this amazing mural on our run.

While we were out and about, we ran past the house Robbie just bought, the oldest in Davenport! It was built in 1847. Sometimes, it blows my mind to think of the hands that must have built that place, the lives that were lived inside their walls. How many scraped knees, happy breakfasts, family holidays, births, and deaths?

After we finished up, we got a cup of coffee from Redband Coffee Company and went back to the hotel to get our day started. I love the view from the hotel, looking down on the Adler theater. It's one of my favorite venues, I've performed there so many times. In fact, when we put on the Iowa Burlesque festival we held it at the Adler.

Filming wrapped up for the day, and we went over to visit Lovely Laura at Trashcan Annie's. If you need amazing vintage, there's no better place for it. I've been going there for years! My sisters and I used to spend hours there when we were younger. I'm so glad to be able to get to go back and lose myself among the treasures after all these years. Like this amazing jacket!

We decided to stop for the day and grab some dinner. We decided to go to Miss Phay Cafe, which was incredible. Great food and drinks make for two happy girls.
