Road Dog Diaries, first the packing then the bath.

This photo is a quick shot Jeremy got of me while relaxing in my bath after packing for my travels tomorrow. I will be leaving at 4am to drive 2.5 hours to San Juan with my PA Debbie, to catch a flight to Moline with a layover in chicago where I will need to pick up some new makeup because I’ve lost mine in the move.

I just don’t wear it out here because it’s so sticky and hot.

We have Jeremys sister and her son out here visiting so I’m sad to leave them but excited to see Mike again. He has been through the wringer this last month and takes things so much to heart. I’m proud of him for choosing to not react to everything with hate, instead leading with love and keeping that his focal point.

We have about a week solid of filming to do then I will be getting oral surgery to fix a tooth that’s is giving me trouble. I hate tooth pain, it’s the worst.

It is extremely hard to make doctors appointments here anymore after Covid so I’m just doing it back in Iowa.

It’s so upsetting that our work situation has shifted so negatively in the media. So much of what is being said is simply untrue and it’s so sad to hear.

I love my work family and am thankful that I get to go see the folks who treat me so well and care for my well-being.

Mike and I are going to take some time alone to just talk and get the wiggles out. We’re all needing a bit of love and compassion lately and fortunately we’re good at giving eachother that. It’s an important piece to maintaining long lasting friendship and work relationship like ours.

My burlesque daughter Mac D’vil lives out in the quad cities so I’m going to try to make time to see her too. Hopefully get a hair cut from her🎉

But most important I get to be there for my son Miles birthday!

Thank the Gods Haley will be there with me on the road again this trip!

Ok, I need to set out my clothes for the morning and get some rest.
