Throwback Thursday : Iowa Burlesque Festival
Added 2021-06-03 13:55:25 +0000 UTCI remember it like it was yesterday; I went to the NY Burlesque Festival and after leaving, I felt inspired and motivated to produce and host the inaugural Iowa Burlesque Festival in my hometown of Davenport, IA. I was overwhelmed at times, but damn did We put on a hell of a show. We tend to forget some of our great accomplishments or perhaps sometimes not give ourselves enough credit for the things we've done. It feels good to look back upon, and drives me to want to continue to produce amazing shows.
It’s interesting to look back on all of the things that I feel went so right and to see the things that I could and should have done differently. There was a lot happening at this time in my life, I was working through so much of my own personal stuff, at times I did not see the bigger picture. Looking back on these photos clarifies a lot of it the good the bad the ugly, all of it.
Did anyone catch the festivals in 2013 or 2014?
