This early 1900’s Dancing Doll was picked by Mike and I fell in love! The day she came into the Antique Archaeology I knew she was meant for me.
I kept her in my house in Le Claire next to Antique Archaeology and my children Miles and Memphis hated her! They did not want her in the house but I thought she was incredible.
My son insisted that she moved across the room when he was sleeping on the couch as a teenager. He ran up to my room in a panic and told me this doll was possessed.
I went down to check and saw her on the other sort of the living room next to the couch where Miles was sleeping. I wasn’t there to see what happened but Miles wouldn’t allow the doll downstairs anymore.
Memphis agreed.
I had to keep her in my area.
And yes... she was active in my space as well.
But I still love her 💗

2021-05-11 22:38:40 +0000 UTCI don’t think I’ve seen that episode. As someone who enjoys an Addams-esque aesthetic, I think that doll might be even too creepy for me. Kind of reminds me of the incident with Carl Tanzler in Florida in the 1930s.
