Nova Ley: Full Performance

This was a show I did at Nova Ley in Mayaguez PR shortly after pandemic hit. Establishments were still open and shows were still going strong.
I knew there was a risk so we wore our masks. Let me tell you that wearing a mask while dancing is tough! I thought I might suffocate but I made it through.
I can’t wait to be back on stage. I’ll never look at performance art the same way again after the last year. I miss it terribly 💗
In this piece I am wearing a heavily beaded red flame style burlesque bra made in the early 1970’s by the Combat Zone Burlesquer, and current subject of my study, Lorraine Gail Smith.
