Lots of folks right now are struggling with Covid, mental illness, physical illness, financial stress, depression etc. I would love to hear from all of your beautiful folks how you are coping. Tell me something good. Tell me something inspirational or just leave a great quote that I can share for people who are having a hard time right now. For the quotes that really hit home, I will share them to my IG stories. I appreciate you, I appreciate your support always, I love you.

2021-02-06 19:41:42 +0000 UTCAs a retired volunteer emergency responder, I spent 30 years running toward danger while sensible people ran the other way. These days, I am inspired by the doctors, nurses, police officers, firefighters, EMTs, Paramedics and all the other front line workers who not only run toward danger, but live their lives immersed in it while they put the lives of others ahead of their own. If they can consistently contribute under such duress, my problems seem minor by comparison. We can make it through this pandemic. We WILL make it through... and if we can offer support to those in need along the way, so much the better!

Today I woke up like a queen.. but depression (I tend to keep in closet) will come through like a rage of hate, self loathing doubt. It sucks. It's like a huge dark fog with no air or light. Alone. Then somehow .. there's a speck of light .. maybe a rope or rope ladder but it always instant. I'm fine again. 🤦♀️🤷♀️💔💔💞💞🖤💜 (I think of your strong comforting embrace when I was shaking out of my clothes; like a mom saying, it will be okay.) My mom has been dead 6 years this upcoming January. New Year tends to suck. Thank you for all you do, darling.

And my 80 YouTube subscribers have been doing good and I think one enjoyed seeing my videos of me at garage sales and estate sales. They even like hearing about bubble glass frames when ever I find them priced under what they are actually worth. My feetless mannequin now has Victorian boots

2020-12-12 16:20:33 +0000 UTCThis year has been very hard. I lost 8 loved ones and I struggle with depression. Whenever I am really sad, I go find opportunities to help somewhere. It's a way to honor the love they gave the world. I was at the grocery store a couple of weeks ago and there was an elderly woman in line ahead of me who I could see was struggling with the cost of her food (she thought her 6 cans of soup were on sale but found out otherwise and she mentioned how expensive 1.50 was for her. ) I ended up paying for her groceries. She told me she was having a hard time and had done things like this for others in the past. I told her now it's her turn to receive what she's given. She reminded me of my gram, sweet soul.
