My Grandmother Mary

I can only imagine how lost she must have felt at that time. She was so in love with my grandfather when he passed suddenly. She had four small children at that time.
I wonder if taking over his business gave her some comfort or possibly made her feel closer to him?
Family history is fascinating. I remember her always talking about him like some big hulking hero. I always heard that he was such a good man. I wish I could have met him. Someday I will. š

We often tend to hold the pictures dear to our hearts as a way to connect with the past. Unfortunately my mother when she went to Puerto Rico, there was a hurricane that had damaged the house and wiped out all my moms pictures. She lost my whole history and family history. I had to piece together my history through my aunts pictures. Its extremely sad because my high school pictures of my graduation and so many others are gone. I have a few pictures. I guess I should be thankful for the few pictures I have. Thanks for sharing your amazing grandmother.
