I know I say it every time but I’m thoroughly excited for this video! I’ve been taking my time putting together this costume and routine. This costume started out life as my wedding dress. I never wore it for that purpose but it was filled with undesirable memories and icky energy so I cut it up and reconstructed it. This costume came from the ashes of that marriage and it’s deterioration and has served to fertilize greener pastures since. It’s been reborn with a new life and better purpose. I purchased these blue fabric waves years ago on Etsy. And the pasties are made by Black Orchyd Pasties. I purchased them on a whim at the Asian Burlesque Festival in NYC. The blue and silver turban is a mid century vintage piece that I am thrilled fits my big head. I’ve missed the ocean more than I can explain and am so thankful for each moment I was able to bathe in her salty goodness. Until I can return to her I will wrap myself in this costume and pretend...
