What a day this was! We started out early in the morning on the beach photographing and since we had so many earthquakes going on one after another, after shock after after shock, all that was running through my head was how quickly I would have to run if a tsunami came. I had to stop, meditate, feel the water and realize that everything is OK. I had to tell myself “everything is OK, don’t create problems that don’t exist. Every word you speak is a spell that is cast and your magic is too powerful to even say these words out loud.” I repeat this to myself frequently when I feel scared, threatened, anxiety ridden. Our words are powerful, if we are an intentional person our words are even more powerful. This photo was taken after I was able to calm myself. I didn’t say anything out loud to anybody else but in my mind I knew what I was thinking. I love this photo because I know that Rosa Lee Bloom also knew what I was thinking. She filled this moment with Compassion and love. What a wonderful moment when you think the world might be falling down around you and you realize it’s not, and you realize the power to change it is in your own hands. And then, when you feel better, somebody is right next to you holding onto you and your loving partner is standing there taking the photo. I loved this day! I still love this day. And I will live many more just like it Because I know what I want, I want to be surrounded by love, hope and creativity.
