Robbie and I spent the day picking in Wisconsin like we have for the last week. Wisconsin is always one of my favorite places to pick or just drive-through. The Rollinghills, the river, the bluffs, the beer, the cheese! Let’s face it it doesn’t matter what time of year it is, Wisconsin is just so damn beautiful! Robbie and I had to pull over to the side of the road to take a photo of the beautiful sunset. I always love to ride with Robbie. He gets so excited about life, even a sunset. He takes the time to enjoy the little things in life and he relishes in the fun, juicy parts. Robbie never lets anything knock him out of the game, he just keeps rolling along to the next joyous moment. His laugh is contagious and his personality is strong yet gentle. While we work very long days and what we do is exhausting and very hard work, very dirty work, the people I work with keep me up. They keep me inspired to keep moving. They treat me like a queen and they love me like family. The last 10 years have been an incredible journey of self discovery and huge lesson in being thankful for what i have in the moment. We all go for long stretches without seeing our partners, our children, our parents, our pets and homes but we build communities on the road and we are definitely one hell of a strong road family. I’m proud that we’ve come this far and I’m proud of the men that I work with because they don’t see me as different or as just a girl. I appreciate their strengths and they sure as hell appreciate mine. I’m thankful💗
