I was inspired to make this cat costume in Nashville during Stripping History when I was wearing Trudy Wayne‘s original cat costume on stage. I knew I needed to have one of my very own and that’s how this tribute costume was born.

I reached out to Lady Vermilion Costumes and she designed the cat suit with tail. I specifically wanted an entire bodysuit and detachable tail just like Trudy's. I reached out to Rachelle Appelle and they designed the cat hood. I reached out to Manuge Et Toi and she designed the pasties, G-string and gauntlets to match the cat suit. I wanted to make sure that the G-string had flesh tone straps so it looked more nude, I love the illusion!

In my research of her, I realized that Trudy Wayne was quite a comedian! She loved Burlesque but she loved comedy as well. My favorite combination too!
