Hello! Thanks for your feedback. It's clear that you once really enjoyed Lori's story and I sympathize with your frustration that it's turning in a direction that you don't enjoy. To be perfectly honest, this story is taking WAY too long to close out. It's dragging. It probably should have ended around when michael took full responsibility for Isabella's betrayal. But I wanted to do a brief stint in RR Labs, just so we could see Lori and Becca's meeting from Lori's POV. Ever since the late 2010's, the intention has been to end this story within a chapter or two after Lori's 1-year follow-up. But of course, as is often the case, I became distracted from my goal of giving Lori a timely ending and enamored with adding more detail. I also wanted to use this late-2000's moment in the RR timeline to set up (in my opinion) some VERY important groundwork for future events. It also doesn't help that I'm going through some hardships in my personal life and cannot, for now, dedicate as much time as I want to writing. If I had my way, I'd be developing Nina's story, Janet's story, and others alongisde Lori's but all I have time for at the moment is Lori's. Barely. (but everyone has problems, it won't be forever). Now, with all that being said, I'm not going to be nearly as agreeable when it comes to your thoughts on Lori and michael. I am assuming you do not have personal experience living between the buttocks of a heavyset woman for a full year so while I respect your opinion, I'll not consider it any more valid or correct than another on the emotional and psychological influence such an experience would have on a man. And honestly it's a moot point. We are seeing the world through Lori's perspective, not michael's...at least not right now. This story is and always has been LORI's story and her journey through the rear housing experiment. Lori's perspective, with the occasional sprinkling of a subject POV chapter: that's what it's always been. Lori is an unreliable narrator. We've had PLENTY of those in the RR stories. Just because she thinks it, doesn't mean it's true. And I believe it reasonable that she would observe michael's response to seeing the morally bankrupt, sadistic Dr. Walker who ruined his life and then justify her own treatment of him by further convincing herself that he wants to go back in her bottom. Next chapter is from michael's perspective, and it's a retelling of the extraction experience from his eyes. It may or may not make more sense to you; you may or may not be satisfied or convinced, to hear directly from his own thoughts what is causing this 'internal conflict' that I'm teasing. I'd like it if it resonates with you because I want everyone to enjoy these stories and love these characters the way I do. But I have strong conviction in their motivations. Just ask anyone who has commissioned an RR story how difficult it can be (at times) for them to negotiate an action or motivation that I don't see these characters doing (although in my defense, I usually cave if a good enough explanation is given!). While 'warmth and pheromones' are unapologetically a small part of michael's clouded judgment, they're really just the tip of the iceburg. Goodness, this was long. I'm responding to your post and leaving it up because I truly do appreciate your passion. Feedback is in such short supply within this community and it's very important in gauging reception. I encourage you to provide more feedback, both positive and negative, to creators whose work you enjoy, if for no other reason than to positively reinforce them and maybe even steer their content steady in a direction that remains consistently aligned with your interests.

2025-10-22 05:33:59 +0000 UTCI've never commented before, that's how you know things have gotten bad. The last few updates have been abysmal. This one. Worse! Feels like you've lost the ability to create stories that captured the horror, like Ragaey mentioned quoting Sofia's story. This story at the beginning started off remarkable. With the gradual build up in time, his dialogue capturing his struggle, her inner monologue innocently mocking, trifling his adversity. When he thought it was over and said that 15 minutes felt like a day, screaming about what he had been through. Lori listened and nodded affectionately, as if she understood. Only to then invalidate his feelings and minimize his grief by continuing along with the experiment. Reading about those 15 minutes turning into hours was glorious! Especially with that 15-minute time comparison. His options, a fake kindness. Cruel really, making him choose his shifts, a choice between jail and jail. Only to then force those shifts to change for her own convenience, resulting in him being trapped for consecutive hours, a lot more than he was used to. The punishment, his mouth trapped open whilst she blissfully slept, oblivious to his pain. His blubbering the next day, broken. Her genuine guilt. But then wearing the compression pants after she said she wouldn't. All Great Stuff! And now lacking. I've been a supporter since July 2023, I even sat through the boring injection stuff. But I don't think I can sit through any more of this. Wanting to go back because of pheromones, and familiarity, pfffft! He should be diving at the opportunity for that slim chance of freedom, to bargain or beg, pleading for a way out of the contract. Hoping someone will listen, knowing that Lori wont. That would make sense. Momentarily forgetting how to form words, stuttering, after being trapped in sweltering heat and darkness, with no interaction and no one to talk to, for the best part of a year. Trapped alone with his own thoughts and a gigantic twitching $ss whole. That would capture his struggle. But pheromones, and wanting to go back, pfffft! You should seriously consider deleting this post. If you can't fix this story in the next, I'm deleting this subscription. I Feel like I've been holding on long enough waiting for something to happen, for this to pick up. Only to be disappointed, post after post. It’s almost as if Disney bought the rights and changed the genre. Taking it from a R18 to a G. Changing it from a horror to a rom-com.

You ask a great question but the answer is complicated, and michael is having a bit of an internal struggle. You may understand it a little better next chapter when we go into michael's POV!
