We hear this term a lot lately, unbothered… What does that mean? In my world, to be unbothered is to be set free from the expectations put on you but others. To move forward with my life with strength and determination and confidence regardless of what’s happening within the industry or within the social circle. We all learn and grow at our own pace. Don’t rush it! When we rush our work we end up with is sloppy work. Take your time to grow. It’s a beautiful thing to look around and be inspired by our environment But we don’t have to mimic our environment. There is no shame in taking our time to uniquely grow. Don’t be bothered by the opinions of other people. Allow yourself to feel the freedom of being unbothered by the heavy weight of those expectations and opinions. When we allow ourselves this freedom we can grow in the most unexpected, beautiful ways. When somebody comes to you with constructive criticism, here it out, think on it, decide what actually applies to you and what you are ready to address. Overwhelming ourselves with the expectations of others is a sure fire way to depression or worse. Be proud, you have come a long way baby! ✨
