Its like athelites from certain countries. If they show a gift they are sent to intensive training at a very young age , far from family and friends.

I have to say it is a bit weird to take a kid who's not even old enough to remember her parents and train them, regardless of whether the culture thinks it's important. And, let's face it, would Giles have put Buffy in the hold of a plane to go to a new country (with only one shirt) and NOT go with her? I don't think so! I don't think Buffy shares well lol She is SO unamused with Kendra even before Giles and Kendra have a little book bonding moment. Willow is right though, Buffy will always be Giles' favourite :D And...'what does Giles bring?' Shame on you! ;) He brings a cross bow and a great new fighting team - Giles and Willow kicked ass :D Oz and Willow are ridiculously cute. I read somewhere that the animal cracker bit at the end was ad libbed. Can't wait for more reactions :D
