Even with a 2 m cushion, she’d face ~150 g (fatal). With only half a meter? ~600 g — instant death. And before she even fell, the red beam would have cooked her alive: a plasma-like blast means searing heat, shockwaves, ruptured organs, shredded clothes, and a nice crater where she landed. And the catcher? Obliterated shoulders, spine, and probably yeeted into the next continent.
