IN THE DARK OF NIGHT
Sometimes we all have our dark moods, myself and Erika included. It’s difficult for some people to see a beautiful, young, vibrant person like Erika and think she has problems, but she’s human and struggles like the rest of us. One one particularly difficult time in her life, we shot these dark, angry projections. The images ended up as haunting, moody representations of both her and my feelings at the time.
The good thing about working through such struggles and letting them influence your art is that you have a productive use of your time and can look back on the thing you create, a positive event out of the misery of that long-passed moment.
