Yulia pt. III, I guess

Kinda odd title but I didn't even realise that my last shoot was actually with Yulia so I'm naming it pt.III even though it's a completely separate shoot, that took me forver to organise and put together.

I'm suffering to complete lack of time recently and organising a photoshoot is very costly, not money wise but my personal life in all its meaning, never thought my life will be so chaotic but here we go...

Yulia pt. II

Here's a second part of my shoot with Yulia

This bit is mostly shot at her bathroom where I really liked the lighting, it was really reminding me of lighting in the movies and fashion shoots so this is what I was thinking when I was taking these photos.

We also tried going under the shower but it wasn't working as good as I wanted it to so we gave up quickly really but got some cool shots of Yulia with her hair wet :)

INTRODUCTION:

I found Yulia on instagram, don't even know how but it was meant to be because we created another set that has to be divided into two parts and I actually love when it happens, I love having a lot of beautiful photos to chose from and I love that I have a platform to post them all because each frame I pick feels somewhat special to me and I hope you do like that as well!

Ada pt. II

So finally I'm able to post film photos from my shoot with Ada. Photos themselves aren't like super creative or provocative by any means, the whole purpose of this shoot was to test how my little Olympus will do in a studio environment so we definitely kept it Youtube friendly because that's why I was taking those photos. To my suprise photos from further back are more to my liking than the ones from very close (or at least as close as I could get) and the built-in flash did NOT dissapoint! I...

A bit of a random shoot to be honest with you as I wasn't planning anything special lighting or styling wise but one evening I just decided it would be really cool to shoot with this girl! I think in my head that shoot looked a lot different to what we actually ended up creating but I love it a lot! Plus it was a great way to get to know each other so next time I will definitely plan ahead and will go super extra hard on that one!

we decided to drive across to country towards Newcastle to take some photos on the field there.

I honestly think I made a mistake by choosing this location. It looked a bit different in my head when I was imagining this shoot but I think it turned out well.

Original concept was to shoot it all in black and white with lots of concrete ground and little dead nature around and in the back. But that time of the year it was a little more green than I expected.

Another idea involving plastic sheet :)

This one wasn't planned at all I just thought we could make use of it before I throw it awat as I was taking it off the rails. I think as for a spontaneous idea it came out quite well, well enough to be one of my favourite shots ever and make it framed on my wall soon! 

I really like the texture the sheets makes on the skin :)

Ok, hands down definitely my favourite shoot so far haha.

I went a little creative, not original creative but just testing waters with lighting etc.

I'm very happy with the results and honestly Alina made it so much easier. 

Don't think we even had a moodboard of any sort for this occasion just one picture I wanted to recreate haha. I bought this plastic sheet cover on my way to the studio and was thinking how I can use it while driving to the location. I guess sometime...

I think the last time I was shooting so much and so often was right when I was beginning my photography journey and did lots of test for modeling agencies. Starting my shift at Starbucks at 6am, then do a test or two after the shift, go home, edit and repeat

Okay I'm actually dropping this set in two pieces, there's too many good ones and we actually worked quite hard to narrow down the amount of photos to the point where we said yeah I don't wanna drop any more pictures, and that's the beauty of this platform!!
