LET HER IN
Holding life together is tough, especially the more responsibilities you have. Wife, kids, house, cars, career, retirement, let alone any level of fun or desire you have for your hobbies or passions. It’s frustrating, maddening, disappointing, humiliating, and downright depressing. It’s the worst of things, the worst of times.
But it can also be great. An expanded notion of love, a larger amount of supporters and perspectives, teaching you to grow and become fuller, more complete. You find yourself seeking out things, defending things and people that were foreign to you before, and working on projects that you would never have made time for before all these new restrictions propped up in your life.
That’s what I’ve been dealing with today. The anger, frustration, and of course the realization that it’s all worth it. It’s all worth the desire to crawl out of our skin when things work out and when, at the end of the day, you are enveloped in your loved-ones arms and reminded that before all this, you were alone physically, mentally, and spiritually.
None of this has anything at all to do with this beautiful new series of model Kaitlin, I really just needed too vent. Please enjoy this special series, and please remember how good you have it, no matter how frustrating your days become.
