SEVENTH HEAVEN

Many of you loved the red lighting experiment I made with McKenzie Eckels recently, and so did I. But I had actually tried it out with my wonderful and beloved friend/muse Erika first, over a month or two before.

This is the first time I tried it, and damn if it didn’t work as perfectly as I hoped it would. Later I would experiment more, push the idea further with McKenzie, using more lines, different angles, etc.

I have seen Erika through so many incarnations of herself. An insecure teen, a Techno-Rave Queen, a broke Millenial, a stressed out pet-owner, and more. Thankfully, I must say, I have never seen her so confident, strong, beautiful, and aware of who she is and what she wants. She’s still young and learning from her mistakes, but she’s in a far better place than she’s ever been. A place I knew she’d get to if she worked hard and was patient enough. And she has been.
