LESS IS ALWAYS MORE

As Summer ends and Fall begins, it’s important to remember the passing of time, the good memories we’ve shared with friends over the last few months, and that more yet different good times are coming through the end of the year.

I’ve been having lots of ups and downs, but more downs, sadly. Still, I try to keep busy, keep my head up, and do my best to make good work.

Here is a beautiful series I truly love of my dear friend Erika, taken a few months ago. Erika came over yesterday, not to shoot, but just to hang out, talk, share a drink and a meal, and just discuss life. We shared our frustrations, fears, our current relationships, and just how life has been. Like many people I know, the times are tough and challenging and uncertain, but we just have to keep surviving, as people have always done.

Sometimes you don’t always get what you want. Sometimes you have to smile in the face of your worst fears. Sometimes the people who have done you wrong succeed undeservedly. Life is tough and often unfair. But that doesn’t mean we should ever, ever give up.

So please, have a great weekend, don’t be afraid to take a day to recharge your batteries, and then let’s get back out there and kick some ass!
